KEYNOTE

The highlight of the evening will be a keynote address by Dr. Curt Stager, a renowned scientist, educator, and author. Dr. Stager holds the Draper-Lussi Endowed Chair in Paleoecology and Lake Ecology at Paul Smith’s College. In 2013, he was named New York State Science Professor of the Year by the Carnegie-Case Foundation.

A prolific researcher and communicator, Dr. Stager’s work on climate change and environmental history has been featured in Science, National Geographic, and The New York Times. He is the author of several award-winning books, including his most recent work, "The First Adirondackers: 12,000 Years of Human Presence in the Adirondack Uplands."

Attend two 45-minute sessions from a variety of disciplines and the keynote to earn 5 CTLE credits.

By presenting a session or two, you continue to build the network of dedicated educators working together to advance our practices.
