Fall conference

STANYS Eastern Section is proud to present the 39th Annual Fall Conference. Join us for an evening showcasing innovative lessons, networking with fellow science teachers and checking out the latest resources. The conference includes two 45 minute workshop sessions, a keynote speaker, exhibitors, dinner and door prizes.

DINNER

Dinner will be provided by the Faculty Student Association of SUNY Schenectady. Under the direction of adjunct professor Jamie Binkley, students of SUNY Schenectady’s Culinary Arts program will prepare, plate, and serve dinner. The students are excited to share their passion for food and food preparation with our local science teachers.

Meal choices:

Apple butter glazed chicken over gorgonzola, apple, and craisin risotto
Vegetarian wild rice stuffed acorn squash (gluten-free)
Seared halibut with brussels sprouts and sweet potato hash topped with pumpkin salsa

Salad, dinner rolls, and dessert cookies will be provided as well as coffee, tea, lemonade, fruit infused water.

Every year the Eastern Section brings together some of the most dynamic and engaging presenters. Would you like to showcase your expertise or tools to engage students in science?

At this time we are no longer accepting session proposals, but we hope that you will consider presenting at next year's Fall Conference.

The Fall Conference is made possible, in large part, because of support from our exhibitors. Become an exhibitor today to reach the amazing K-12 science teachers of the Capital Region.

As an exhibitor, you will be provided with a table in the exhibitor room prior to the conference sessions and dinner. Teachers are always looking for more local opportunities for services, goods, and resources. We only ask in return that you provide your organization logo for use in our materials and a door prize to award conference attendees at the end of the evening. This could be anything that helps support the teachers in the classrooms or promotes your program or business.

At this time we are no longer accepting exhibitor resquests, but we hope that you will consider joining us at next year's Fall Conference.
